I believe word is that a very limited number of interview offers were extended to some candidates. But I am not one of those people so I could just be making that up haha

According to the email, they ask 150 "strong candidates" to interview each year....

That's what I'm thinking... though I hope more likely the second one! It also says that their goal is to interview a significant portion of the entering class, and since the entering class is ~188, this would make sense...
