I love Minneapolis! How would I fare there as I am a Tigers and Red Wings fan...?
Red Wings would be nbd. Keep the tigers thing quiet though (this coming from a Yankees fan.)
Good luck!!

Huh.... Tigers are my favorite team in any sport. The tough part is being in the same division as a rival in a city I love. Huge Tiger fan! Thanks for the advice. Should I be granted admission I'll have to contemplate how much Tigers/Red Wings gear I bring.

As a Yankees fan, I can say I wear my hat proudly but I definitely get my fair share of evil stares.

Well nobody's going to beat you up for wearing your gear- but Jaeger is right, be prepared for evil stares.

People from Minneapolis would be smart not to mess with people from the D. Just sayin'.
Keeping my fingers crossed for acceptance!

I live in Minneapolis. I work with someone who wears his Steelers hat Every. Single. Day. Knit in the winter, baseball in the summer. One time, when I saw him out running, he had a Nittany Lions hat on instead.
So, you'd not be alone.

Their deposit dates are coming up - I'd wager most waitlist movement would be after that.

It varies. I think the 20th for most.

Anyone have Article III clerkship placement numbers for recent classes from UMN? Can't find them on their website...

Hey Guys! I just received news of being wait listed at University of Minnesota! Any other Waitlisters on here? I sent in some additional documents that should bolster my application a bit along with a letter of continued interest! This is def. my dream law school! Good Luck to all of you waiting, and congrats to all those who were accepted!
numbers: 155/3.0 (not great, but got me on a wait list!)

Hey, when did you go into review? I just recently went to "review" and want to know about how long I have to wait for a decision.
Thanks.

I believe I went into review sometime late Feb. took them a while to get back to me!
So, I guess based on this thread the 1st seat deposit deadlines vary from the 15th -20th? Cant wait to see some wait list movement!

So I guess I'll be seeing you guys in the fall!
congrats!

I applied here about two months ago, despite having absolutely zero ties to the area. Late Saturday night, however, I got a text message from a bizarre number asking "Where are you?" and I never got a response, so after googling the area code I found out it was from Minneapolis - St. Paul....
Strange coincidence?

nah, probably just a serial killer trying to find out where you are. On a more serious note, surprised that Hollywood hasn't come out with a garbage horror flick based on texting. There was a movie called "One missed phone call" which looked awful. "One last text" hasn't been done yet.
