hey guys, are people finding their status checkers slow to update? My undergrad said they sent out my dean's certification on 9/23, but no confirm/update from Stanford that it has been received. Should I be worried?

I'm kind of in the same boat, my UG mailed off my corrected deans certificate over a week ago and no update from Stanford. I'm anxious about it because I want to be complete, but I think it's reasonable to expect delays.

I think I'm in roughly the same boat (it's getting crowded in here). I set a new form to my UG almost two weeks ago, I think.

Did any of you submit foreign study abroad transcripts? I got mine sent last Monday but I am not sure if they received it yet. I will probably wait until tomorrow to call and check, but does anyone have experience with how fast Stanford was at processing your abroad transcripts?

Has anyone else's status checker changed? I contacted the admissions office earlier this week to clear up some things incomplete from my file, and they very promptly/kindly answered me back and now I've been "Submitted for review"

Does Stanford start rolling out decisions in early December?

Yes, mine now says the same thing. I just called them to clear up some incomplete things in my file too. Twinz!!?!!

ETA: check graph on OP. Looks like some people got in before Dec 4. I'm not an autoadmit by any means so am not expecting it, lol

I've been submitted for review since I got the status checker. From last year's thread, that just means "complete" though the next step is a decision. Basically, once complete, the status checker is useless.

My school (supposedly!) sent the dean's certificate on 10/6 and my status checker hasn't been updated yet. when you guys called, did it seem like they had all the documents in your file but simply hadn't updated it online? I'm applying while overseas, and I'm wondering if I should spend the skype money making the call if it will speed things up!

Yes, the lady I talked to just quickly checked and they had already received my transcript. They had all the materials, just hadn't updated it on the status checker to complete.

Anyone mind sharing how long it took between getting their "Application Received" email and their status checker email? its been a long long 10 days =(

I second this.

I submitted on 10/11 and got the "received your application" email on 10/12. I just called the Admissions Office, and they've received my Dean's Certification. I have gone complete at other schools that I applied to on the same day...maybe SLS is just slow with the complete emails?

Hmm, I submitted 9/30 and they received it within hours.

Edit: and I got the checker 9/30, too.

I submitted 9/29 got an email saying that they received it 9/30 and was complete and under review the same day.
