I'd been in queue for review for a month and a half, and I just switched to "under committee review" this afternoon! RD applicant.

I believe last year most WERE over the phone.

Maybe those phone calls were what lgleye meant?

Can't speak about the cousin but they told you that you were admitted on the phone. Sometimes they even left a message telling you. Check last year's thread.

Now that it's settled that those admitted will receive the news over the phone, what about those who are waitlisted/rejected??? Does getting a phone call mean automatic admission? Or do we still have to hold our breath just in case the caller tells us we're WL?

Acceptance over the phone unless they can't reach you then you will get an email. I remember them starting after lunch usually and work through the afternoon.

Rejections come by email in mass fashion after each round of acceptances are over.

WL by email but I don't remember them coming that early.

lol nice escape from thinking about the exams looming over our heads. There is a decent number of nontrads here, so I don't think it will set you back.
