Is there anybody else out there with numbers above both medians, who has gotten into stanford and or harvard, who still has not heard back? Thought a couple of days ago i might have seen a few amidst the madness over "the trick."

any theories as to the reason? YP? weak application or poorly tailored to columbia?

I'm in the same position (also admitted at H in December). Unsuccessful with the Voldemort trick, in NYC, no VCE. However, I looked at LSN for the applicants with the same LSAT as me last cycle and a close range of GPAs. All but one got into Columbia, including quite a few with $. It seemed like there was another wave of acceptances around the second week of Feb. So now I'm feeling more hopeful! I think we're going to be seeing a lot more acceptances over the next few weeks

It would be really helpful and reassuring to a lot of people here who really want CLS and don't want false hope if you could upload a pic of your envelope and postmark and also give a vague location. This happens really frequently and it usually ends up being a troll getting people's hopes up and this is the only way anyone will ever believe you. Hope that wouldn't be too much trouble!

No, that guy was claiming to have gotten one and then been rejected. I just went back and tried to find the person I was thinking of and couldn't, though, so I'm probably wrong.

At this point, I am just hoping that there will be multiple rounds of acceptances and those people who couldn't login are just going to be included in these future rounds.

I posted about multiple waves earlier, but it bears repetition. I looked in last year's thread and there appeared to be 2-3 waves in the January round.

I guess the more important thing about these waves is if "Voldemort database" was updated AS these waves went out rather than a mass update of all admits before any of the waves went out. Obviously, we are all hoping for the former to be true.

take a picture, email it to yourself. save to your computer. go to imgur.com. click upload. select the picture from your files. upload. post in this thread. click Img. put the link imgur gives you in between the brackets. submit.
