Thanks for all the responses everyone. I have been traveling extensively the last few weeks. But Im settled into a spot now where I should have public computer access about every day or so if necessary. But will likely only check every other day or three. It's actually kind of nice not being able to become too obsessed like many on TLS.

Sorry to get everything off track. Was not my intention. Thanks for the support.

I truly wish everyone in here the best of luck in their cycle. Please dont become too neurotic. Like I said in the Stanford thread a minute ago, the fact that HLS is even a realistic option for you means that life is good. You all will get into great law schools, become great lawyers, and become successful individuals, regardless of whether it's HLS, CLS, UofC, Mich, etc. Life is good. Best of luck.

Well, I'm a 3.86, just below the median, so not a 3.9.

But, I'm not saying I'm at the top of the ding pile because of my numbers. And I don't think they're going by that anyway. I just remember the last round of rejections ended around 5:00 and they had JUST gotten to the 11/7 submitters. I'm thinking that's when they'll resume.
Did the dings go by submission date? Don't want to get my hopes up that I've temporarily escaped the axe.

The ding/hold wave from Fri/Mon seemed to only be people who got their complete emails before early November.

Ah, complete date. I submitted Halloween but didn't go complete til 11/17. Look like I'm far from safe.

Im late to the party. Seeing as I'm on an iPhone searching pages of posts would suck. What's the update? I know that rejections and holds have come out. I submitted first week of nov. but have had mostly radio silence since. I'm sure other ppl are in a similar situation

Hey all - had a difficult final month of deployment (I've now completed my service and I was officially honorably discharged January 1st) and wasn't following this thread. But as a quick update now: I'm another who's still heard nothing one way or the other from Harvard, after submitting back in September.

+1. Although, according to my projections, I am the very top of the rejection pile once they resume sending out dings.

Btw, when will that be again?
no dude, I'm way more of an auto-ding than you
Me too. :(

Though I've got at least a couple weeks of anxiety considering my recent application.
None of you guys are auto dings. I had a KB1 Monday w 3.6/177. That means there is hope for everyone

I have almost the exact same numbers. You're probably way more interesting than me though, non-numbers wise.

Submitted early November and silence so far.

Congrats on completing your service! Shouldn't you be running around South America partying or something?

Shouldn't we be expecting some movement from Harvard?

After some stalking of last years thread, it looks like there was some silence around this time, except for some KB1s. More dings started around 1/24

I really wonder what the game is here, but I THINK that that just means your file is still being read by additional people--the office said up to 5--and they haven't yet made a decision to hold, waitlist, deny, or admit.

Submitted 12/30, Application Received 1/03. Application under review 1/11. This seems pretty fast if you ask me. A good sign?

+1

Almost identical situation. I'm an URM (AA male), by the way, with an LSAT score b/w 160 and 170, very strong softs and PS (IMO), and a 3.4 from HYP.

They do go very fast at first. The longest wait for me was between going under review and getting the Complete email.

I submitted in mid October and haven't heard a word since then. Would it be completely inappropriate to send a LOCI now? Given my numbers, I'm not sure I have anything to lose.

A LOCI to Harvard? Nah bro, trust me--they know you have a continued interest in them.

This. If you guys haven't received your "Complete" emails, then "your applications are in the final stages of processing." I called and asked the other day :D

Unless it's a letter of criminal intent :D :D

I saw this in the Penn thread, and it still makes me giggle. I guess i was behind on TLS humor.

Thanks so much, it feels unreal - unfortunately reality comes knocking, and cash is a little tight right now for an extended vacation (believe me when I say about my army salary that I didn't enlist to get rich). Going to have to get back to the US and get to work. I also have an exciting opportunity lined up for speaking on a few college campuses about the IDF, so I've got something pulling me back even aside from financial necessity.

Edit: I'm sure it's appropriate at this point for me to update HLS about my discharge, a change in contact information, and plans for the spring and summer - but that'd essentially be like a LOCI, so the timing seems awkward given that I haven't even received a hold yet. Should I send the letter right away, or wait for a potential hold to come first?
