Do you know if NYU has started to wait list people or sent put rejections yet? The silence o. Their end is killing me slowly.

They've rejected a bunch with lower numbers: http://nyu.lawschoolnumbers.com/stats

They are presumably still thinking over that big empty swath between red and green.

So I sent in a LOCI/update.... it basically was the law school equivalent of a fellatio (this is how it's been described to ALL of my friends.) hopefully NYU is cool with 3rd base and wants me!

I've been tempted to do the same. Although moreso for Chicago. I'm pretty sure they will be making decisions soon so I'm restraining myself. I might draft one for NYU this weekend if I hear nothing though. I mostly commented because I like the way you described your LOCI. xD

I have similar stats to you guys so I know it's only a matter of time. But why must they drag this torture out?? Just eliminate that lingering unnecessary bit of hope and get it over with.

I really don't understand how NYU hasn't rejected me with my GPA yet. Most URMs seem to have heard by now, and I kind of didn't expect to get in so I haven't followed the thread as much, but I wonder if they really plan on waitlisting someone with my stats and knowing they won't accept me. Sometimes this process is mind boggling, sorry to hear about the rejections today.

hey, I'm URM and from what I see on LSN, this is definitely not the case. When did you go under review?

I'm URM and haven't heard anything either. UR 12/14 (or 1/6 if they were actually waiting for my Dec LSAT score).

Received my purple envelope from Dean Kleinrock. A nice welcome document and personalized note were included. The personalized notes always go a far ways in my book. +1 brownie point for you NYU!

Received mine yesterday, 6 days after they said my decision was mailed, and here I was thinking I was the only one with a personal note. Still it went a long way for me too, maybe I'll send it back with my request for some money to remind them what a fantastic candidate I am.
