nope...i just got it via voicemail and she just said id be getting my packet in a couple days...they said they sent it yesterday but she didn't mention any deadline or anything. I'm curious what people heard who actually spoke to her?

Waitlist Admittees!! A few questions..

Has anyone received their packets in the mail (or even email) yet?
Did anyone receive scholarship info over the phone? So if it wasn't mentioned during my phone call, safe to assume I didn't get anything?

I got my stuff today--a booklet/magazine and a box in a package. Oddly enough, there was no admissions letter. I live in the Midwest, got the call on Thursday if that helps.

Thanks for the reply crushcrawfish! So I gather there wasn't any super important information in there. My package was sent to the wrong address so it might take awhile for the package to reach me.

If you don't mind me asking, did you get any financial aid information in the package? Weird that there wasn't an admissions letter included...

I just got the purple envelope with the admissions letter and intent to enroll form on sat (dated may 10th, got the call on may 12th). The package did not have any fin aid info, or booklet etc etc. Hoping that comes soon!

I havent received my packet you (though I wasn't home today so it might be there now) - received the call on the 11th and they said they had mailed the letter that day. He also said that I would now be able to access the admitted students website, which I was. I submitted my deposit/intent to enroll online via the admitted students website. I did not receive an e-mail and there was no mention of scholarship during the brief phone call. He asked if I had any questions/said I could call if I thought of anything, so if you're really curious you can always call and ask.

I didn't get any financial aid or personalized info in the mail. But on Friday, I got an email telling me I got $0 institutional aid (I accessed my award--or lack thereof--on the admitted students site). I called NYU's FinAid office and all they said re: financial aid was that federal loans will go out later in the summer.

actually I got the pizza box today with the faculty book and the magazine, booklet etc.

Received a good amount from a peer school, so wouldn't be able to choose NYU at sticker

While this doesn't specifically apply to WL-Admits; I got this reply when I asked about guaranteed housing.

For 1Ls, yes. And I have yet to hear of anyone who wanted on campus housing as an upper-classman who didn't get it, but theoretically 1Ls get preference.

So while you may not get your desired preference (studio,1bdr, D'ag, Mercer, etc.), I think they'll still find a place for you to live in.
