You can ask to be considered for both? I didn't apply FT cause I didn't think I'd get in with my numbers (165/2.8 ). I wonder if I should email them and ask them to switch my app? What do you guys think?

I have similar stats. A little worse, but URM. Obviously they wait listed me for FT, and are now considering me for May. I really don't know what to suggest, because if you ask to be moved to May consideration, which very well might already be filled at this point, then you probably wouldn't have the FT wait list to fall back on.

You should call and see what they can offer.

Do you guys realize that the May program doesn't offer any scholarships? If so, are you seriously interested in attending Cardozo at full price? I'm asking this not to be a jerk, but out of curiousity because I too am considering the May program and would like to know what your opinions on the matter of tuition at Cardozo are.

Yeah, I'm really not too enthralled by the prospect. Just keeping my options open.

I am glad to hear I am not the only one WL and considered for PT still waiting for word on well anything... we were suppose to hear something in reference to the WL by late March (or so my e-mail said)... from what I hear the PT program is made up mostly of people who applied FT originally.

I remember seeing from past threads (as in past cycles) that they kept the May people waiting quite a while, like a couple of weeks before classes in some cases. In last year's thread it looked like they filled the class in mid-May.

http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 2&t=104902

I'm on the waitlist for FT and really agonized over whether to also be considered for PT because I really like Cardozo. But not only is it full tuition, but the daytime hours would make it really hard for me to work my current job, which would have lessened the sting of full tuition. So, I had to stick to FT.
I'm not sure how I feel about paying full price if I'm accepted for FT either, but that's a debate for another thread.

So does anyone know if there is a set way we will be notified of getting in for the May Program (e-mail, phone, snail mail)? I am really keen on getting in and so I keep checking my e-mail a million times a day and keep looking for the phone to ring. IF I know which to expect then I will feel a lot better!

I understand that there is material that you have to read and prepare for the first day of class. Does anyone know how much and how hard this material is? I'm really not looking forward to working for law school prior to the first day of classes. Once school starts it's ok because I hope to be psychologically prepared, but before then is a real killer for me.

Also, does anyone know what they teach the first day of class? Is it a full blown class with the huge workload of a typical day in law school, or is it just a simple lecture with little to no extra work outside of class?

First of all, why did this thread die, and I'm the only one posting here? Second, I know there is no scholarship for May, but can you get a scholarship when you join the full time after the first year if you did well?

I believe it's Monday through Thursday with two 2 hour classes everyday (excluding Monday with only 1), with 1 starting at 10 in the morning, the other at 1:30.
