Still Waiting on Vandy...What to do?

Still waiting on Vanderbilt. Probably a Waitlist, but hoping for an acceptance. Just passed the 8-week mark on my completed app.
Do I ride it out for 3 weeks until I have to pay deposits at other schools, or send them something else in the meantime (is additional info before an initial decision regarded as "proactive" or "desperate?")?
If so, what do I send? LOR, LOCI, add'l writing sample, etc.?
Otherwise, anyone have any insight on when I can expect something? Going crazy here. Not to mention Texas is also dragging its feet.
