Even if you end up not doing it- post away your thoughts, fears, hopes, dreams, desires, and anything else related to your decision making process.

You are eligible to join if you are paying full tuition or

You have over 35k in undergrad or graduate loans to still pay off- and your total school bill is 120k or higher.

It had better be a great three years, because after it's up, I'll be spending the next thirty eating Ramen Noodles...

I'll jump in and support this thread. Although im not facing full tuition, i'm still facing quite a substantial amount of debt if I attend. Right now it's left me shaken and afraid and I'll probably end up retaking the LSAT to place me in a better position. Best of luck to all of you taking the plunge!

I cannot WAIT to file for bankruptcy.
(I probably won't even have to hire a lawyer)

You know student loan debt generally cannot be discharged in bankruptcy, right?

I don't have much debt from UG, so I feel alright as long as keep my debt under 150K. Although with my splitter stats, I don't expect any good scholarship anyway.

That doesn't work either. In fact, if you screw around too much you might not even pass the character and fitness portion of the bar.

Example: There was one guy who took out a second mortgage on his house. Paid off his student loans and then declared bankruptcy. Bam, failed the C&F!

1. I thought you were going to have a support thread about how you are getting full tuition from a school. I was going to say, "You're going to need a support thread after how much people hate you after this thread."

2. And me. I will likely be paying sticker, because I was an idiot and didn't think about negotiating scholarships. Also, the few that I have (while some are very tempting) they aren't tempting enough to make me turn down higher ranked schools. :?

Lol.. What would happen if one were to do it after the C&F and bar exam?

Its actually much harder to get disbarred. Still, that might do the trick.

This Nigerian prince sent me this email and told me I've inherited a bunch of money and all I had to do was give him my bank account numbers! Just waiting for him to get back to me!

with ~ 75K in UG debt here too. I'm just pretending it's not happening.
SFnative wrote:Are all of you paying for LS alone?
I'll be paying for it along with a husband that has about 20k in UG debt.

Our first house will be a refrigerator box.
