Does anyone know if people have gotten accepted off the waitlist yet? The website still says Mid-May...but someone on LSN posted that he/she talked to admissions and they said they were waiting for the end of both deposit deadlines, so they wouldn't start until June.

I heard the same thing yesterday, but that they'd at least have a better idea by the end of this week.sonorabay wrote:Does anyone know if people have gotten accepted off the waitlist yet? The waitlisted applicants page on the UB website changed a little. Now it says "May" instead of "mid-May." Hm...

I spoke to the Director yesterday and apparently nothing is really going to move until June, the second deposit date.sonorabay wrote:The waitlisted applicants page on the UB website changed a little. Now it says "May" instead of "mid-May." Hm...

thanks!
So we have (at least) another good 2 weeks of waiting....I had false hopes when they sent an email in April stating that they were going to start admitting people on the waitlist by the end of the month.

I haven't heard anything either. I visited in the Spring, and liked it a lot more than I expected. The law school building is pretty small, but they are currently building another one. All of the students seemed happy and I liked the overall environment. The school seems to be moving up in the rankings. They also guarantee that they will place you in an externship/job for the summer after 1L.

Found out that the last second deposit date is June 15, so there won't be any WL movement 'til after that...

I just got in regular admission this past Tuesday. Now I am waiting to hear if I get any money....
Any idea how they set up our first year schedules? Is it possible to work or do anything else during year one?
