Top Law Schools

I know there is a UF thread already but I feel that theres a mix of accepted student and students still waiting. I created this thread specifically for those applicants who are on suicide watch due to there no decision made status. This way we keep each other informed on any changes. Also if your status changed can you inform the other so we can make a decision on whether to send a deposit to our accepted schools. I just checked now and my status still the same =\ 3/2

I'm at the status as well. My best guess is that they go through and do auto admits and denies and if you are not either one of those then you get the no decision reached. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I've had this status since 11/18. Either admit or deny, I just want to know!

I've been there since 12/16...it's the last school I'm waiting on!!! So frustrating!

So far I'm the winner....or loser...at 11/12. Come on, UF!

I've had this status since 1/21. Honestly I'm just glad I wasn't rejected right away.

what do you think it means? What can they be doing behind the scenes? Probably the same as HOLD. What do you all think?

I haven't heard of anyone being rejected yet. It seems like everyone has either been accepted or has this status. Why would they "hold" so many people?

lets check law school numbers and see if rejections have been recently given. wow no rejections documented yet on this site

Idk...in any case, I am very curious to see what the Monday letters say. I've gotten numbers from most/all of the people who said they had them issued and it may answer the mass HOLD question vs. reject vs. waitlist.

Those were the ones and I was trying to skirt around the possibility sixstrings pointed out. haha.

I'm one of the people who were sent a letter on Monday 2/28. Still waiting for it to arrive....but my best guess is rejection. I will keep you posted when I actually get the letter.

My status changed on Monday from no decision to letter sent. Got the letter today (go to school at UF) now and it was a rejection.

I'm sorry to hear that for you but a HUGE congrats on Illinois! Papa alicrimson went there and he liked it/it transferred into a job in SoFla. I'm sure you will do wonderfully there, assuming that is where you choose to go.

Illinois is my top choice now. I am still waiting for Indiana, Wash U, Iowa, ND, FSU and Miami (on hold) Unless one of those mid west schools accepts me and gives me more money I am going to be going to Illinois.

Last night I came across last years thread and read that about 400-500 applicants get put on the waiting list from that amount 15-18% are assumed to not be interested or already accepted offers else where and then they start picking out beginning in may-august =/
