My numbers are 170/3.2 I know the 3.2 GPA makes me a slim candidate, however I have been out of school for almost 10 years and have a pretty strong resume. I own two successful companies one of which I started while in college. ( hence the not so great GPA). Ready to pursue public policy. Any hope of getting in?

Depends on the school.

If the school has already sent out rejections or waitlists and you have not heard yet, then there's certainly a chance.

If the school has not yet sent out rejections or waitlists but has sent out lots of acceptances, there's still a chance, but in all likelihood you're going to get a ding or a WL.

There's always a chance until you actually get a decision. However, its realistically pretty darn slim at this point. That said, I applied to NYU in September and got an acceptance in February, so I must have been admitted on the second pass.

Hope that helps.

Cornell seems to be really slow to reply, so yes, still a chance.
