I just got an email from HLS, and I made the cut for a phone interview! I gotta say I'm a little surprised, but ecstatic nonetheless. The problem is, I'm a teacher, and the time they wanted to schedule me for is during one of my classes. Is it considered a major faux pas to reschedule these things? I don't want to be "that guy" and have the adcomms already think that I'm a problem. Plus, the time difference between Mountain Standard Time and HLS makes scheduling a bit difficult...

So should I reach out to reschedule? Or might this seem overly needy?

I highly doubt that they would hold rescheduling against you when you are doing it due to your job.

Not a big deal at all. Rescheduled for one day earlier and got in 4 days later.
