The Forgotten- Columbia 2011
For people who (as of today) have not seen any VCE/rejection/hold/reserve action from CLS despite the fact that their applications have been complete for months (if you just went complete in January I guess you can still count as "forgotten", but try to understand that early submitters may have considerably stronger grounds for being anxious)
I'll start: Submitted late September, Complete since October, Fall Grade Request 1/10, nothing but silence since...

If you have fit-for-Coumbia numbers, I honestly think that no news means acceptance at this point.

Re: The Forgotten- Columbia 2011
I don't think I have fit for Columbia numbers, but I'm a URM and stranger things have happened. Regardless, I've had no VCE/rejection/hold/grade request/nada.
Submitted 11/26. Complete early December.

submitted mid-November, complete early December
no grades request or anything else since but pretty solid numbers for CLS so I'm keeping my hope alive

Complete mid-December, grades request early January (positive trend), borderline numbers.

Seems to be a numbers trend here. Any URMs aside from subtle?

I'm holding out hope that they just haven't decided what to do with URM aps yet. *crosses fingers*

URM here. I definitely don't have auto-admit numbers, but considering how well my cycle's been going I was expecting a waitlist rather than an outright rejection from CLS. But now that we've all been through two waves of WL, it looks like they're really stuck on us or we're admit/rejects.

URM here also. I've been complete as of 12/22. This is a reach for me to say the least. Still no word.. They are definitely waiting the pool out.
Question to all the reaches, have you decided that you would pay Columbia at sticker? After COL, we're looking at $200K+.

Another survivor here. I'm just below and at the 75ths.. Not giving up hope quite yet but the wait is getting tough.

The wait is making me a little nuts. And I don't think my family appreciates my daily "do I have mail from CLS?????" texts anymore...alphamoose wrote:Another survivor here. I'm just below and at the 75ths.. Not giving up hope quite yet but the wait is getting tough.
(I'm at school but my dorm's not the best with delivering mail so I get all my law school related correspondence delivered to my permanent address. Not being able to check the mailbox every day adds a whole new layer of anxiety.)

Re: The Forgotten- Columbia 2011
I've just stopped getting anxious about my mail. It'll come when it comes, but from what the people who called/emailed are saying nothing's on the way now. Also, I'm hoping this is a watched pot never boils situation and they'll send a decision my way as soon as I stop rushing to my mailbox for a couple days.bistduverrueckt wrote:The wait is making me a little nuts. It seems there are a TON of URMs who haven't heard. Maybe they're rounding us up for the deadline so they can lump us all together and take the ones they want.Ctgrapefruit wrote:HolaFrankie55 wrote:Seems to be a numbers trend here. Any URMs aside from subtle?

4.5+ index, non-URM. Submitted October, went complete 11/2 (Oct LSAT).
I really want to do the NYU/CLS ASW run one of those two weeks to compare side-by-side. Running out of time to buy tickets though...

Are you in at NYU yet? If so you can just buy the tickets, and in the worst case scenario you have extra free time to explore New York.incompetentia wrote:4.5+ index, non-URM. Submitted October, went complete 11/2 (Oct LSAT).

I got a fall grade request ten minutes ago. I guess that's confirmation that they really don't know what to do with us. And this probably means a decision is far off?

Joining up to keep track of what is going on. I probably have the lowest non-URM numbers here, my index rounds up to a 4.2
