It seems like some people have already received decisions from their hold and others (like me) who've heard nothing yet.

Same, I'm still in hold purgatory...

Me too... i applied to BC in October... sucks to be waiting this long.

I know some TLSers saw a date change in their status checkers after the hold. Aggiegrad was a hold but has since been rejected. So there is SOME movement.

No idea, she got a BU acceptance the same day and I was too busy being jealous to ask.

I was Held at BC back in December, and got dinged yesterday.

Did you get the decision by mail/email?

My status checker hasn't changed since I was held in December either... ughh

My checker changed almost three weeks ago now and the current status listed is the date I went complete in Oct. I was held early in Dec. Anyone else see a change?

I was held in december too, no movement yet and no change on my status checker.

Thanks for starting this forum so I can hear from Held people without scanning the whole BC forum!

I was also held in december... im pretty sure they said in the hold letter that we would hear back from them in march. Obviously, some have heard back already but I would bet that most of us wont here anything for a couple of weeks.

They promised a decision by 2/28 and its 2/9. No change to my status checker yet. Am counting down...

Now that i've seen a few people have been accepted off the hold list, i'm anxious. I hope they do more decisions soon, even though feb 28th is only 2 weeks away.

Hi guys,

when you guys were put on hold, did your status checker say "Decision Rendered" and then you got the mail saying that you were on hold?

I got DR 1/18, and didn't get the e-mail, so I am not accepted.

At the same time, because I live abroad, it's taking so long for the mail to arrive here.

I am hoping I was put on hold instead of WL/Ding. So I was wondering when the status checker said DR if there is any possibility for Hold.

Hold applicants are supposed to hear back by 2/28 so the fact that you had a DR of 1/18 leaves me uncertain whether it's possible to have a hold that late in the game. Still possible, perhaps but I really have no idea.

so you saying that you had DR on the status checker when you were put on hold?

Yes.

there's still hope with a dr 1/18 for a hold - i had that as my original hold date!

Ah ok. I wonder when is the latest they place someone on hold. Perhaps end of January?

i have long given up trying to make any sense of any decision or way of making it haha. at least there's this forum to help us detect patterns. gosh.
