So the end of the week is drawing near. I thought it would be fun to hear TLSers predictions for major admissions activity before the weekend.

Which schools will be most active tomorrow with admits, dings, and wait lists?

Is Friday the most frequent day of decision rendering fro law schools?

Personally I'm guessing American, Wake, and maybe (crosses fingers) some activity from W&M.

My predictions were semi-educated guesses based on stalking the forums, but there certainly is a hint of wishful thinking inherent to all this.

I say UConn. If only because I really really want to hear from UConn.

Penn has been doing decisions every Friday since coming back from the break.

Seton Hall seems to be Friday oriented too. So I wouldn't be shocked if we see a wave of admits tomorrow.

My predictions:
1. Penn will send out its usual wave of acceptances and carnage. (And maybe this time decisions for Club 1/3 please).
2. More of the 1/26 dated VCEs will hit mailboxes.

The other question to be asked is what TIME will they send out decisions? I say this because I check my status a bunch of times a day, so I would like to know what time of day is popular for them to send out.

As a side note - I know this is probably a dumb question but can your status change after school hours (say 12 midnight)?

The Time question is almost impossible to answer, though if you are expecting an answer from UIUC I would check around 11am EST. I think that's the time they go out.

To your side note: They seem to change whenever admissions officers are working. I know they are not fully automated, I'm unsure if they are automated at all really. So my guess would be they won't change late, but could if someone was really excited about admissions decisions.

Cornell is unbelievably going to do something tomorrow...I feel it.

They went through a whole wave of waitlists/dings/acceptances last week and nothing so far this week....I'm hoping for a spectacular Friday.

Harvard typically throws dings out on Fridays

I've gone UR at at least one school on a Saturday--but Saturdays might be different from after school hours. Still unexpected, though.

I'm hoping that Mich unleashes a big batch, but they seem so gradual it's unlikely.

Haha I love recognizing people from other threads. Its like a reunion...except there isn't the one guy who didn't quite make it in life but his wife made him go and he feels more and more depressed as the night goes on and he sees how successful and happy everyone else is.

That'll be me in 13 years. For now. SMU best be getting its rear in gear
