Since we don't really know what exactly that means, I made a thread for those of us on Duke's glorified waitlist!

If you don't know what your status means, why don't you just call the school?

I've been on Priority Reserve since the beginning of October. I think I would have preferred to just get outright rejected. Duke saying that they will give you a decision in 10 days and then making that decision basically a waitlist just seems a bit unsavory to me.

wow, no one has talked in here for awhile... got the email today asking if I'm still interested and to fill out a survey if I am. Think I'm just going to withdraw.

numbers, and did you send the LOCI via email or snailmail?

and just to clarify you did say that you were placed in the priority reserve by Duke right? also UR dates if possible?

haha yes yes i was PR-ed alright. complete 11/15 --> UR sometime between--> PR 11/23 --> didn't check regularly --> decision 3/15.

thanks! at the moment it looks pretty likely. unless miraculously another waitlist bites before the deposit. By the way, deposit means I have to withdraw from all other schools?

maybe we'll be future classmates!
