I believe you are posting in the wrong forum, but you can check whatever you'd like to check. You'll see in the URM forum some related topics which have responses as well.chrissyc wrote:Or just one? I talk about being biracial in my DS...should I check both? one? will it matter?
Edited to be more helpful. I believe you will get the same URM boost whether you check both black and white, or just black.

Draw a faint line between the black and the white box then measure to get the exact distance between and make your x. Note it doesn't matter where the x is on the app as long as it is exactly in-between, hell it could fall over asian

what does the reference to the correct forum have to do with you making a snarky comment? It's just rude. People come here for support, help, and to talk to people who understand what they're going through and then people like you have to make it an unpleasant experience. Why do that? It's not nice at all.

I know, who would have EVER thought that someone in an internet forum would make a joke that wasn't helpful. Forums are usually so helpful!chrissyc wrote:was that comment helpful, necessary, or constructive in any way?

So you mean you've lived your entire life in this bureaucratic world of paperwork and have NEVER come across this dilemma?
I'd just select black and profit from the URM boost.

i've never been able to "check one or more" ...it's usually "select one" and that's it. which is the problem i'm running into...more options nowadays.

Select both. You are both, then select both. When you get down to the bottom of the appl, you generally are dating it stating that the information is 100% accurate, based on your knowledge. It allows for more than one option for your specific needs. Select both and then you won't have to worry about possible dishonesty issues, etc. Hope this helps and good luck on your apps.chrissyc wrote:i've never been able to "check one or more" ...it's usually "select one" and that's it. which is the problem i'm running into...more options nowadays.

No, the OP should select both because he/she is both and identifies as both. There will still be a boost.CMDantes wrote:So you mean you've lived your entire life in this bureaucratic world of paperwork and have NEVER come across this dilemma?
