Just wondering if anyone has heard anything from Loyola-New Orleans. I went complete/ready for review on 11/24/10, but no updates since then.

From what I read on Numbers, everyone else that applied there is in the same boat. So, looks like you're not alone. Hope this is somewhat useful.

I went complete in late November and have Initial Review of File as of 12/8.

They're waiting on my score for the Saturday test. I was accepted last year, but was late in the cycle (late May) and at sticker, so I decided to try again this year, hopefully with a better score. I applied in mid-October this year, so it's going to be a loooooong wait.

I applied early November, went into Initial Review sometime in later November (I think 11/24) and now my status checker says my decision letter was mailed 12/16. So looks like I'll find out soon! Also, my status checker now has first and second deposit deadlines. I'm new to this and this is the first school I've heard anything major from, so I could be wrong ... but this is good news, right?

I'm glad to hear that your decision letter was sent out. My application went into "initial review" on 12/15, but I think I've had the first & second deposit deadlines up since my application was received, so I don't think that's an indicator. Good luck, on your application

Ugghh! I logged into the status checker (again) and my status date was updated to today, but the status still says "Initial Review of File" (which it was originally updated to on 12/13). Honestly, I need to stop checking the status checker...I'm going to get myself fired...

FWIW, I called them earlier today to ask which of my two addresses they would mail my decision letter to, and the lady I spoke with told me they just mailed out a bunch of letters today. So if anyone is also waiting on their letter, just know that it's on its way!

Yeah i was accepted too, but initially it had just said my decision letter was sent 1 day after the review of my file so I thought I was a lock for a scholarship, status checker just says accepted though. Bittersweet I guess, doubt I'll attend now.

I don't know yet how big the scholarship is. I think that will be in the decision letter packet, which I'm expecting to get in the mail tomorrow or Thursday. Unless there's a tab or button or something on the status checker that I'm unaware of that shows scholarship info.

I'm excited. Loyola isn't my first choice, but it's not a bad choice. If I don't get into LSU, this is probably where I'll end up (depending on how much $ they're offering).

Anyone else go from "Initial Review" to "Admissions Committee Review Pending" today? I'm guessing this means I'm not going to get one of those letters they mailed out today, lol.

I wish...I would just love to see some movement. My status went to "Initial Review of File" on 12/8 and then was updated on the 20th. I don't know what any of it means anymore

I submitted through LSAC on 11/22 and received my username & password on 11/29

Went to "Initial Review of File" yesterday. Maybe they are planning to send out more letters today?

Accepted with scholarship 1/07 via status checker. Yay!! Under mailings they list the decision letter, which I hope includes the scholarship amount. Now to start checking my mailbox as neurotically as I have been checking the status checker!

Mine has said "Initial Review of File" for a few weeks. Nothing has changed.

The acceptance letter I received after the status check wen to "Accepted with Scholarship" did include the details of their scholarship offer. Fairly substantial amount that did have GPA requirements. Actually, it had GPA levels...you hit the highest level you kept 100% of the scholly, the next level was 75%, etc. I don't know how unusual that is, but it remains the only one I have received like that.

+1...went comeplete in late Dec.

Admitted today via snail mail.
