Roger Williams 2011

Post by msu1077 » Wed Dec 08, 2010 12:27 pm

Hey everyone,

I saw a thread from September that discussed how everyone really looked down on Roger Williams, but I am interested in going there for their marine/admiralty law program and my numbers were within their 25-75%. My status went to Review Pending on December 2. Has anyone heard anything from them?

Thanks!

My status also states that my admissions decision is pending review as of 11/30.

My application has been complete and said "Review Pending" since 11/4. I know that last year they started mailing decisions in December, so hopefully we will see some movement soon.

I saw on LSN that someone has received an acceptance from RWU! I couldn't get in touch with them yet regarding the method of notification, but I have my fingers crossed :)

What was your current status in status checker at the time you received your snail mail decision?

Status just changed to "Final Decision Pending". Has anyone seen that status with Roger Williams before? I've searched TLS and the time frame for that status seems to vary depending on the school.

I'm sure that Final Decision Pending must mean that they have decided to accept us, but are just trying to determine how much scholly they want to offer to make sure we go there!

I had "final decision pending" until the day they called me, and then the day they called me it changed to "decision released".

I think it was maybe three or four days, but this was mid-November.

Talk about crap! My status went from "Final Decision Pending" on 1/7/10 to "Review Pending" and the status date changed back to 12/2/10! My file is apparently regressing...sad

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. I am pretty well convinced that I am eternally in a state of "review pending" at every school I applied to. Good luck!

Thank You msu1077, i will be checking the mail frequently over the next two days or so, as i live in NJ and RI to NJ should not take long. In fact i just calculated the postage and delivery times for a letter from there and it stated Jan 15, 2011 as expected delivery. I will post when i receive the decision, and hopefully you receive admissions as well.

To those who were admitted, did your deposit box have the two deposit amounts? The reason i ask is my decision has been released and is in the mail, and i have just noticed this.
