Optional online interview

Hello:
I have just been e-mailed an invitation to do an optional online interview at one of my schools. I am guessing it is similiar to a phone interview, but the school would rather do it this way, instead of having me talk to them, or an alumni. I have 4 minutes to talk, and they will review it- and use it to help with their decision making process. Has anyone done something similar, and if so would you be willing to share your experiences via pm?

thanks and best wishes for a safe and less stressful end to the semester and winter break!

Depends on your numbers. If you are a good shot anyways (above both medians), forget about it. If you are at are below the medians, then prepare and do it. If the school is a crap shoot anyways, then why do it, since it won't get you out of the ditch. I don't see how it could have a significant impact (unless the school is like Berkeley in being holistic).

im above both medians at the school. I have 3 weeks to submit it. Otherwise, they will just look at my paper application.( which im pretty confident about my chances at being admitted)
