they just called me and upped my scholarship to 18k a year +books

Where you still undecided and they were trying to get you? Or have you paid your deposits, let the others go, and they just decided to be generous?

You probably were accepted. No other reason why he would call. Check your status checker.

Got a call today, but declined since I will be attending Chapman University School of Law. Hope someone here gets the seat!

Got my acceptance letter on Christmas Eve! Definitely the best present I could have asked for! Looks like I will be seeing a lot of you in August :).
