Has anyone heard back from Ave Maria Fall 2011 yet? I applied with a 155/3.6. Catholic so I think that helped. I also applied to ND (EA), St. Thomas, CUA, Seton Hall, etc.
I was notified by email that I received a full ride. Pretty ecstatic! What do ya'll think?

TBH, being from the Ft. Myers/Naples area, I wouldn't even take Ave Maria at a full ride. It's a new law school and, in an small regional area where I believe ties are essential, lacks any significant alumni.
Unfortunately, +1. I really wish this school had worked out because of significant people in my life that live in the area. It's just too risky. True, the school actually has some good recognition/reputation by the NON-legal people in the area, but of course that means little when trying to secure employment. It's a shame the schools reputation took a hit with the move and all the controversy. Earlier this decade, they had a good shot at moving from the TTTT to T2>100, but the Business Plan has been driven into a ditch.

Don't go to Ave, for the reasons mentioned above.

hey rad i'm curious about your thoughts on hanging a shingle. Go to ave get a degree for free then start your own firm. I have some bankroll to back me up and would be dealing in medical litigation, let me know what you think.
