MSU does not have a pt program. its a private school, so there is no instate help ( they purchaed a law school in 1995)

if you are being considerded for a scholarship you go in review then you get the email.

I received a scholarship, but did not receive an email. Nor does my status tracker make any mention of a scholarship.

I don't think it is consistent. Maybe it depends on the specific scholarship you're being considered for.

i went complete around 11/18- went in review 12/3, and got a decision on 12/13.

I applied super early, so they probably are a bit behind. This is the beginning of the mass applications- so it might take a bit longer.

your status checker will tell you - admitted with scholarship.

I got a 75% scholly, and no phone call. teh only phone call I got from an admissions officer was from a school that accepted me a day after i sent my withdrawl notice. Awkward for her, but I told her that my situtation changed, and the school was no longer a good fit for me. she said she understood. doesnt really matter to me though

Is 75% for 1st year only or for all 3 years? If 3 years, what is the GPA requirement to renew?

its 75% for each year. the only guarenteed year is 1L. you need to maintain a 3.0 after the end of each year. if you slip, then recover you get it renewed.

Went complete around 1/10 and status checker changed to waitlisted today 2/1.... Anyone else in the same boat? My numbers are TLS retake material, which is what I intend to do if Michigan State doesn't accept me.

It means they're awaiting a physical copy of the CAS report from LSAC. I think some schools will accept it electronically, and some want an actual copy.

Admitted with a full scholarship via status checker. Also received a phone call this morning from MSU stating I had been granted a King Scholarship. Pretty excited!

It is the King scholarship which requires a 3.5 to remain in the King scholars program but you don't lose your monetary award until 3.0.

Anyway, I may just email them to ask. It sounds like a great deal nonetheless.

Right...you can maintain the scholarship with a 3.0. You just lose the extra "perks" after you drop under 3.5. (BTW, congrats on being a fellow King Scholar! )

It may be sooner than you think. I went complete around the same time you did and was pleasantly surprised to get a call today saying I had been accepted. My status checker went straight from "complete" to "accepted"...completely skipped the "in review" part. Fingers crossed that the same happens to you!
