Like I said in the other thread, I can do it later. I am at work now and Facebook is blocked here. Actually I will probably PM it. I think the link was removed due to privacy concerns. If anyone else wants it besides unc0mm0n1 and Confused, let me know.unc0mm0n1 wrote:This has been asked multiple times I'm not sure they want any new members in the groupConfused7 wrote:JR1 3/11, JR2 3/14
Can someone please post the fb link to the 2014 group? There's a couple on fb....also, I asked this in the HLS 2014 thread but is anyone else considering deferring?

There's a Facebook group of only a select group of predetermined admitted students? Welcome to Harvard, I suppose.unc0mm0n1 wrote:This has been asked multiple times I'm not sure they want any new members in the groupConfused7 wrote:JR1 3/11, JR2 3/14

No, there is no snobbery. I think the person who originally posted it removed it because she did not want random TLS people to know who she was in real life.delusional wrote:There's a Facebook group of only a select group of predetermined admitted students? I think the problem here is that a girl who got into HLS isn't going to be particularly impressed by a guy who got into HLS. Other girls, sure.moneko wrote:lol this thread gets funnier as you backtrackarism87 wrote: I must not be the creme de la creme.
arism, don't worry, who could be more creme de la creme than HLS chicks?

Re: In at Harvard
Oh ok I just thought since it was asked for the past two days in various threads that someone would have answered. I figured there were a ton of people on here from the group, but now I can see it was just a kind of personal, selective, page and that makes sense not too many people have the link. I was looking more for an official Facebook 2014 page. Thanks anyway.sarahh wrote:No, there is no snobbery. Hmm, that's too bad. Was looking for an official fb group too. Doesn't like every LS have one? Btw, anyone going to April ASW?

Re: In at Harvard
It is not a tiny TLS group. There are a lot of people in the group, probably including some non-TLS people. I was just trying to explain why I was going to PM it and not post it. I don't think there is an "official" group that was started by the school. I am not sure why no one else responded. I don't think this thread is as active as the regular one. We are more worried about getting in than anything else!Confused7 wrote:Hmm, that's too bad. Was looking for an official fb group too. Doesn't like every LS have one? Btw, anyone going to April ASW?

Re: In at Harvard
Just search for the Harvard Law School Class of 2014. Pick the one with 77 members rather than 3 members.
The group is pretty quiet by the way.

Anyone send in transcripts yet? I did so a couple weeks ago but haven't heard back. Is this a normal turnaround time?

It took me a few days for some of my forms to get marked as received.moneko wrote:+1pennyloafer17 wrote:When did you go under review, might I ask? Are you happy with the package?tgir wrote:Yes. i'm about 90% done w all my forms (waiting on them to answer a few Qs to finish the last one) but nothing has gone received yet. Am I being unreasonably impatient i did them all on Monday...
I received my award a few days ago and I am -extremely- pleased and surprised with it.

Re: In at Harvard
I got my package yesterday after going under review on the 7th. I'm pretty pleased with it. It was about the same (a little less) than the offer from another school in CT, so it seems financial aid packages aren't going to make much a difference when it comes down to decision timemoneko wrote:+1pennyloafer17 wrote:When did you go under review, might I ask? Re: In at Harvard
On the top of the page, there should be a paragraph telling you what steps to take if you don't think a document pertains to you. I'm a girl too and haven't gotten that document. That's so weird, haha! Or I would just call them if you want fast info.moneko wrote:does anyone else have the Doc. of Selective Service Registration listed on their documents? mine is neither a red link nor can i find it on any of the financial aid forums... plus i'm a girl so i was thinking i wouldn't need this... ???

How long was turnaround time for the FinAid package -- from the time all documents were marked as received to the time you received the award?

Would you be so kind as to discuss post-admissions stuff @ "Harvard Law Class of 2014" thread in that other forum? New posts in this thread elevates blood pressure by making us think someone just got JR2. Thanks in advance.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
