I know there is a U of C thread already, just thought I would post one for us EDers.
I sent 10/26, complete 10/28, under review 11/2.
Here's to hoping that ED gives a big enough boost to let us in!

I did early decision too and went complete 10/8 but still not under review. I saw another user, Sentry, is also UR and he went complete after I did. Does anyone think this merits enough concern for an email or phone call to UChicago?

That does sound strange given that I went complete 3 weeks after you did and am UR.
Maybe call and ask about the complete/UR portions of the status check? Maybe you wont have to tell them who you are if you get an answer like - sometimes we dont update that.

I think we are looking at 12/17 for our decisions. On law school numbers early decisioners got their notifications on the third friday of december and this has held true for the last three years.

I think we'll get our decisions on the 17th as well....I really wish it were the the first week in December like CLS and NYU.

Noticed that on LSN as well, but only figured 12/17 based on 12/18 last year. Good to know that trend goes back a few years.

I sort of regret doing ED, if only because I hate not having options myself and being told I have to do something (and potential for $$ somewhere). Of course, if I were RD and were to get WL or dinged, I would very much regret not doing ED.

. I am so excited -- I know the chances are slim but I want to find out soon. If I get waitlisted, will be time to start planning an LSAT retake.

based on last year: phone call if accepted, e-mail if something other than acceptance (deferral, rejection, waitlist)
