Don't know if there are a whole lot of Utah applicants on here. Figured I would start the thread anyway. I was surprised my application went under review on Tuesday. They originally told me they don't recognize apps until November. My status checker just said complete until Tuesday, so there is some sort of action going on.

I'll be joining you soon. Just waiting for the December LSAT. Good luck with your application. How long ago did you submit your app?

I applied early because I took the June LSAT. My app went in the first day they allowed it to. I don't remember exactly what day it was.

anyone kinda disappointed with the lack of admission numbers as far as admitted students gpa and LSAT? out of 120+ matriculated students each year you would think there would be more?

after my LSAT class at the U a couple of students were talking about the Dean. For those of you who have spoken with Reyes, do you feel like he talks down to you, as in he is better than you?

I've spoken with him a few times and never felt that he was talking down to me. He was very helpful and willing to answer my questions.

I don't think Reyes talks down to you, he does have a very strong presence though. LSN seems to have a fairly decent range of #'s for last year if I remember correctly, if you leave the GPA/LSAT #'s open and just search for admits or rejects or whatever.

Reyes is the man, one of the nicest guys I've ever met. For those of you above who said it feels like he talking down to you, I think you just got the wrong impression.

Anyone actually been admitted yet? Or do we really have to wait until late January/February? I know some schools claim they wait to start reviewing and admitting until after the New Year and then people post they received decisions early December.

From everything I've seen on LSN and heard elsewhere, they really don't start sending out admits til February.

Sent my application in today (a little later than I would have liked). I was impressed by the new National Center for Veterans Studies. I'm hoping that because I'm a Vet I will have a little bit of a leg-up.

I spoke with admissions and they said that decisions would come out the end of January. My application has been "under review" since October, then the date updated on 12/3. They sent me a HUGE package in the mail yesterday; but, it was just marketing stuff. Nice information though.

Really? You're under review? I've been sitting at complete since 11/8, I didn't think they started reviewing until January.

Yea, I thought it was weird too, that is why I contacted the admissions office and asked if decisions might be coming out earlier than January as indicated in the "complete" email. The reply said that decisions would come out in late January as per the email. I hope she was just saying that to not excite anyone. Anyway, been under review for some time now and really hoping to get in as I am a Utah resident.

Under review as well

Utah has an interesting review process, so I'm curious to see how long it will take to get a decision.
