I am in the same boat- applied early September, waiting for my October LSAT score. Lets hope for a quick turnaround after they go complete.

I applied in early September and received a complete application notice October 14th, informing me that I should receive a decision within 8 weeks. Good luck to everyone.

I am interested in Marqutte Law and was wondering if anyone knew how generous Marquette Law is with money. I applied with a 3.57 and a 159, 1 year WE, half-persian, and 1 year good WE. Do I have any hope of money to offset the high tuition rate?

Has anyone that recently got their October LSAT score received notification that their file was complete at Marquette? Still have not heard from them and sent them a message yesterday. Congrats to all who have been accepted already!!

I took the October test and got an email yesterday from Marquette saying that I was complete and under review. It says 8 weeks for a decision but I hope it doesn't take that long.

E-mail? All their communications so far led me to believe they only send out letters snail-mail.

I don't know about money, although I would suspect something based on past results at
http://www.lawschoolnumbers.com/.
As for getting in, the applicant profile grid shows that 36 people applied in your range and 31 were accepted. Not a lock, but it looks good.
When you log into LSAC.org, you can check out the 'Law School Description' PDF for each school. Many of them have a profile grid that gives you a good idea of your chances based on numbers.

Yeah e-mail. According to the e-mail, I'm suppose to receive the actual letter from Dean Kearney along with an information packet shortly.

I'm pretty sure you're in, don't know about money though.

Congratulations, BTW, and thanks for the insight. I'll keep an eye on my e-mail, too.

Have you guys been given an online account to check statuses with Marquette? I got an email on
11/1/10 that they received my application but that's the last I've heard.
Also what do you think my chances are? 3.7 with 151 retake score? My first was 146, second 151

Marquette doesn't give a status checker. You will get an email once your file is complete and then they send a decision via snail mail. Kind of sucks but at least it's one less distraction.
If you feel like you can do a lot better on the LSAT in a short period of time, I would re-take but you don't want to risk doing worse. Not sure how competitive a 151 is but a 3.7 will look nice.

Thanks, I doubt I would do worse, I just doubt that I will do better, and taking the LSAT twice looks bad enough. Can't imagine 3 times. Just want to know right away what the verdict is...sleepless nights blow!

If a school wants your score they usually dont care if you have taken it multiple times. I would give it a shot!
