You might as well try it. Your LSAT is way above their median for any quarter, so you have a decent shot at convincing them, if you phrase it tactfully.

So is the general consensus that if you didn't receive a scholly offer with your admit letter you didn't get one? Got my letter regarding summer quarter today and there's no mention of $$.

In for Fall, no scholarship offer. We'll see, I guess.

*checks your stats* Hmmm, I'm kind of surprised you didn't get at least a small scholarship offer....I'd call next week and ask them.

I also don't have experience negotiating, but I definitely think you should try. I received 21k with 3.5/164...I'm surprised they didn't offer you at least that much.Longhorn88 wrote:15k w/ a 3.4/172. Was hoping for more, does any one have experience negotiating with them?

I just saw that Baylor jumped 8 spots in the rankings, making it even with Houston and only a few spots behind SMU. I know rankings shouldn't be a huge influence, but it's nice to know!

Ya this is great! Impressive jump in trial ad ranking also. Only scary thing is the percent employed (its 46%)renee88 wrote:I just saw that Baylor jumped 8 spots in the rankings, making it even with Houston and only a few spots behind SMU. The same thing happened to Pepperdine when Ken Starr became president there, so I guess he's working his magic on Baylor, too.

Yeah, I know. I would probably send in my deposit now and stop looking at other schools if it were even just modestly better.txadv11 wrote:Ya this is great! Impressive jump in trial ad ranking also. Did the % employed drop from the past few years or has it always been around there?renee88 wrote:Yeah, I know. Anyone still at Complete - No Decision Made? I've had this on my status checker since 11/23, prob not a good sign. Any thoughts?

I've been complete since 11/29. I agree, probably not good. I emailed about a month ago the admissions office about this, and they claimed I was in review.SCJD2014 wrote:Anyone still at Complete - No Decision Made? I've had this on my status checker since 11/23, prob not a good sign. Any thoughts?

Re: Baylor 2011 "Decision letter mailed."---In at Baylor 2011
Still nothing. I was complete 11/17. Honestly, what the fuck? I don't care about Baylor at all anymore especially after reading posts here. It would be nice to get some closure. If you are going to reject me, than fucking reject me. It's been over 4 months, I mean come on. Anyone else seriously pissed off? Baylor must be one of the slowest schools on the planet.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
