Well, Georgia hasn't responded to my scholarship negotiation email. If I don't get a response in the next few days I suppose I will be withdrawing via not depositing....

Have you tried calling? I emailed them about something awhile back and didn't get a response, but they were very willing to answer questions by phone.

I'm an incoming 1L looking for a female roommate at a townhouse in 5 pts near the IM fields.

Rent is a great deal! $400 per month including utilities.

PM me if you are interested.

Has anyone had any luck registering with MyID? I have submitted a request a couple of times- but I have been denied.

Email the head of admissions. I got denied a bunch of times too, but I sent her an email and it cleared up for me.

Does anyone want to BUY a condo? My family owns one in Athens, but is looking to sell it now that I've decided to go elsewhere. It's a great investment if you or your family knows people who'll be in the Athens area for a while.

PM me if interested. Thanks!

Hey guys. I am currently an undergrad student at UGA and will be attending law school there in the fall. I have lived at 755 Broad (formerly known as Ga Traditions) for the past 2 years and recommend it to anyone looking for a place to live in the fall. To some it may be expensive but the location, amenities, and management make it worth it. If you have any questions feel free to personal message me and as always Go Dawgs!!

P.S. Here are the websites for the property for those of you that are interested. --LinkRemoved-- and http://755broad.com/

Thanks

FYI: http://law.uga.edu/housing has a form where incoming 1L's can post their information in order to link up with potential roommates. The page also has a link to current housing opportunities posted by incoming 1L's and current law students.

If it is like orientation in the past:
Day 1 is a woohoo law school kind of day full of Atticus Finch pep talks and a little logistical explanation of how things work.
Day 2 you will probably talk about how to prep for class and what to do in class. You'll also take a class pic and individual pics for the directory. Then you will have to listen to lectures about the honor code, character and fitness, and do small group ethics discussions.
Day 3 is serious business. That day you have civil procedure all day. People will be called on--its not like undergrad where you get the syllabus and tell fun facts about yourself. So you better have read.

Thanks! Another question- do you know if there is any Georgia Law gear available to purchase? Sweatshirts, car tags, etc? I have looked online but I've only been able to find a car decal.

Different student organizations sell these things to you throughout the year. In the fall, you will get an opportunity to buy sweatshirts, water bottles, fleece jackets, t shirts, etc.
Some people's parents have gotten them stuff from here http://www.pswear.com/shop/ugalaw.php?cPath=21_29 but it isn't nearly as good as the stuff you can get in the fall. I suggest that you wait and buy it then--plus then it benefits a student organization rather than a random company.

I'm looking for a fellow male law student as a roomate for next year at the Rivermill apartments
Here is their website: --LinkRemoved--

Rent is about $475-535 per month including Cable and Water and the place is literally a 5 min walk to campus. Parking is included as well.

I'm looking to split a 2 bedroom with another future 1st year law student starting this fall. Feel free to PM me if interested.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
