I think I'd feel better if at least SOMEONE had gotten news by now. I'm tired of not hearing anything! But no news is good news, right??

I agree. Just when I thought all this wait list stuff had slowed down.... gah! But it is good news I guess that they still have some spots

Apparently not. Thankfully, if we get the email today, we may have the weekend to consider it? Who knows? Just waiting. My mom's mad at me for being on edge for the past 2 days!

Nope. Now the questions seems to be are they using the email to check on people they have not heard from to see if they are still interested (so they stop offering spots to people who aren't interested). Or are they using the email to feel out people who are on the 'short list'. Last year they used this email to get a sense if people would accepted if offered a spot. But this year it seems like they have been just straight up offering people spots.... so I dont know....

^ And I have no idea if that makes sense to anyone but me ... I just got my wisdom teeth out soooo... lol

I think they'll release offers on Monday. That's what they did 2 weeks ago.

I'm definitely going if accepted but if I don't hear by next Fri, I'm definitely not going.

I called and they said offers are out, waiting to hear back from those people. They said earlier in the summer they were emphasizing uGPA, but now they're focusing on LSAT. Looks like they'll hear back from people they made offers to today/tomorrow and if anyone said no, they'll meet again and make more offers but he didn't give me an exact timeline. Hope this info helps!

Going with splitters this late in the cycle is a risky move by W&L. Assuming W&L will not give out money to WL accepts as they mentioned, these people likely already have relatively good money at peer schools.

I hear that. It is hard to know when you should just mentally move on, find a place at your 'in' school, and start to get excited about wherever you are going.

Yeah.... I know someone who was accepted a little while back (high lsat low gpa) and he already had been taken off several other WLs with money at higher ranked schools.... (he obviously didnt accept W&L)
