I applied a couple weeks ago.

Definitely looking at 'Bama. GPA of a 3.6 and LSAT practice test range of 166-172. Took the LSAT in June...but definitely not applying anywhere if I can't improve that score. I am from above the Mason-Dixon line but have always wanted to live in the South so I am looking at Vandy, Emory, Bama, etc.

163/ 3.67; Applied the first day applications went up. Would love to go to Bama. Anyone know when they actually start looking at applications/ handing out decisions?

Any particular reason? As someone who has made this move (for two years, to Alabama), I'll just say that you should be very, very sure that you want to live in the South before you trek down here.

Someone I know actually works at the law school and he claims that some decisions have already been made, but this isn't very reliable information.

FWIW I was told they start reviewing applications and making decisions in October...

Still thinking about applying to Bama. My whole family lives in Alabama. My grandad graduated from Bama Law and was a DA in Bama. These are both my reasons for and against applying...

Does Bama do their decision through their weird myBama thing? Or do they phone/email etc? The myBama doesn't tell you anything other than that the app was processed.

Considering adding Bama as a reach, but I didn't get a fee waiver and think my shot is very slim I'll PM numbers but rather not post them.

I applied earlier, around beginning of Sept. Received phone call this afternoon.
