I think last year the date was 1/24 - 11/25 based on LSN but they probably won't be sending stuff out on those dates this year.
I really hope you're right! Compete 11/23

Question:

On the status checker, it says that if they don't give you a decision under ED that they just roll you over to RD, and your status will read as "Early Decision - No Decision".

So if your status switches to "Decision" and you're ED, does that for sure mean you're in? Since if you ED'd they wouldn't do a reject right away, right? Or can they flat out reject you in ED?

I'm just curious, btw, I'm still complete 11/23.

I've thought the same thing, but I wouldn't count on it. That said, it seems that everyone whose status goes decision is able to get into admitted students page. So if you see decision then try the admitted students page.

Congrats arejay! I'm still complete too... maybe this year they aren't sending out admits in big waves like they did last year, seems like people have been hearing back pretty sporadically

Congrats AreJay! It must give you another thing to be thankful for.

Still complete here too, and +1 to almostfamous' comment. Maybe they issue ED decisions differently this year.

Seeing as how we're only about two weeks away from the day they promised to tell us by, obviously we'll be finding out soon.

Just wanted to post in this thread since I posted in the main one: If anyone who got in ED (or anyone else, really) has any questions about UM, summer start, Ann Arbor in genera, etc, feel free to PM me on here and I'll respond when I can. I was a summer starter and lived in Ann Arbor previously, so I might be able to provide some insight about the experience. Or just have you sublet my awesome house if I'm not working here for the summer; either one.

I much prefer your previous avatar :(

Does anyone think they would just wait until the 15th to release all ED decisions at once?

haha but I like this one, alot!
http://hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com/2 ... thing.html

i'm actually starting to think they might. Someone pointed out earlier how much later this year's October LSAT was than last year's corresponding one, so I think everything is a little behind. I hope not though! I don't even care at this point which decision it is, I just need to know :(

I'd MUCH prefer Mich (like by a gazillion), but if they defer me then I'm going to switch my UVA app to ED

My bad. I didn't know the story behind your avatar.

Ditto to what you said, I much rather know the decision one way or another at this point as well. This wait is painstakingly unbearable.

I resent this thread, because I wish I had applied ED

As I applied ED at the deadline, I think it would be humane to give each batch of applicants a date when they will
hear/read a decision. The timing is making it so that I'm beginning to think about applying to my other top 3s.
If I apply RD, I can always ask to be considered ED. I don't want to be working on apps during holidays :x

They say the latest is 12/15 for all ED applicants, so we shouldn't have to wait any more than 11 more days

Haha I guess that means no.

Or that the people who heard back "yes" have been out partying for the past 2 days
