Top Law Schools

I was wondering. Since I have everything done, PS, DS, LOR, Resume, and 1 decent LSAT score, if I apply to Law Schools in September and inform them that I am taking the LSAT again in Oct and would like for them to wait, will they wait? Also is Oct still considered early?

I remember a few schools specifically asking if you wanted them to hold for an additional LOR/LSAT while I was filling out apps, but don't remember which ones
