Forfeiting tuition?
If we are offered a spot off a waitlist after paying tuition elsewhere, is it ever possible to get that tuition payment back?

In general there's usually some sort of policy where at some point you get 100% of tuition back, at some point 75%, at some point 50%, etc., so I would think that applies to people who jet for another school as well.cosmopolitan wrote:If we are offered a spot off a waitlist after paying tuition elsewhere, is it ever possible to get that tuition payment back?

I'm sure all schools have their own policy. Mine will refund tuition fully onlt until the end of the first week of class. Hopefully if you get in off the waitlist it would be before the end of the first week of classes at your new school.

pretty much every school will give you a refund if you pull out before classes start (and up to a week or more after)cosmopolitan wrote:If we are offered a spot off a waitlist after paying tuition elsewhere, is it ever possible to get that tuition payment back?

If it's a seat deposit, no, but otherwise yes you can.
