Yes.
The class has its share of people without particularly interesting pre-LS jobs, but a lot of my class was in finance/consulting/engineering prior to coming here.

I don't attend NW but everyone I know who does had at least two years corporate or like WE.

i mean, not really. it isn't so much that having WE will help as that not having it will really hurt.testmachine45 wrote:That's great.

I applied straight out of undergrad (waitlisted). My on-campus interviewer said something to the effect that my WE (variety of substantial part-time jobs during school; also played a year-round varsity sport) was comparable to full-time WE. I was also a 25/75% splitter. I also talked to a prof there who said less than 10 incoming students were straight from undergrad and he was surprised I was even waitlisted. That being said, I think if you don't have WE an interview is essential
