Hey everyone, I appreciate anyone's insight into my problem.

I am in at Creighton, and wait listed at SLU.

Second deposits are due at SLU today (6/29), would it be most prudent for me to call them tomorrow to see if anyone hasn't met the date? I have kind of developed a relationship with an admissions person I have been keeping in contact with, so if some spots opened would it make most sense to call tomorrow first thing in the morning to try and swipe one of those spots?

Secondly, would it be a better idea to try and go to Creighton, a smaller school than SLU if I would be interested in trying to transfer to UW-Madison as far as class ranking?

Please help, I don't quite understand all of this stuff and I need to make a decision in a few days!

Sorry to say, but your calling will only be seen as a LOCI. The open spots in the class will be going to those at the top of the WL rank and then on down from there. You will only be admitted if your number comes up and not, I'm afraid, based on your relationship with the admissions office.

In the interests of your quality of life after graduation, only go to a school that you would be proud to graduate from. Transferring is a noble goal, but only 10% of the class will be able to do so. If you can't stand the idea of graduating from Creighton at median, then don't go.
