Signing for Scholarship + Staying on other Wait lists

Post by Illijah » Sun May 23, 2010 6:53 pm

Does anyone have any information on the repercussions (historically speaking) of signing for a scholarship at a particular school that demands you withdraw at all other schools and wait lists and....not withdrawing?

Thanks

Probably bad. Like not-able-to-attend-law-school bad.

If you agreed to drop all other applications/waitlists I suggest that you do so. Nothing good will come out of starting your law career by breaking a contract. But you know this already.
To answer your question, there have been students who have been dropped because of violating early admissions contracts. I have not heard of anyone getting in trouble for violating a scholarship contract. You might be the first if you get caught. Please keep us informed.
