USF part time or Golden Gate full time before transferring?

Post by v. dentata » Mon May 17, 2010 12:41 am

I was accepted at USF part time and Golden Gate full time. Deposits are due this week, and I am trying to make a decision. I would potentially like to transfer after my first year. I realize USF is a higher-ranked school than Golden Gate, but I would prefer a full time program. Also, housing prices and transportation are a factor, as housing within SF is expensive, and USF is harder to get to from outside the city. Any insight?

You've probably heard it before, but TLS conventional wisdom would say choose the one you'd be happier to graduate from, since you can't count on transferring.

Although I kind of knew that, reading it makes it sound truer. Good point.

I say USF PT. Assume you arent going to transfer - I'd rather have USF
