I don't think you should worry. You think they'll work on it over the weekend? I think they'll get back to it on Monday, your email will be waiting for them at the first hour :)

From YLS twitter: "No review happening this weekend; you're safe from any potential phonepocalypse. If you resent a waitlist form, we'll get it on Monday."

YLS admissions staff, if you are reading this, thank you for being the most reasonable, transparent, and helpful admissions office. No one else is even close.

Lol! I was quoted by the YLS Twitter. Megawin? TBH though, I am probably not safe from a phone catastrophe anyway - rainy night/weekend in Chicago and I have butterfingers. I live a life of danger. It's tough.

lol I think you are still accepted even if you don't answer your phone. Wouldn't they send you an email? Imagine you just don't get in because you are away from your phone for a few minutes haha

It's raining here in NYC too!

From what I've gathered in other TLS threads, it seems like they leave voicemail messages. I'm not reeaaallllly panicking about my phone any more than I usually would. Heh. Plus, I think you're right to suggest that they must e-mail or send a snail mail acceptance just for good measure.

The real question is: how do they inform people who've gotten knocked off the list? That is, if they inform them at all. Here's hoping nobody ITT gets that brutal message.
[BTW, referring to the (203) blog post In the Waiting Room: "Over the next few months, we will periodically review the people on our wait list and release some of them."]

In case anyone's wondering, my acceptance at Yale came off the waitlist. I realize how incredibly lucky I am to be admitted there with my numbers, but they were accompanied by very strong extracurriculars and recommendations and a compelling personal story. Feel free to send me a message if you have any specific questions!

Patience, buddy. "Depending on the number of slots we have to fill, we may take anywhere from a week to a month to fill these slots. I would say that usually our class is stable by the end of May." [from the blog]

Two whole weeks (from tomorrow) left in this month. I reckon it's gotta be tough (and thus take a while) to make these decisions, since we're probably all mind-blowingly awesome in very different ways.

Congrats! Nice to see at least one TLSer make it in. Do you mind telling us your #s/URM status? You can PM if you'd prefer.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
