Accepting off of a Waitlist Question

Post by oberlin08 » Tue Apr 13, 2010 10:30 pm

If I were to get off of a Waitlist, and accepted. And then later got off of a second waitlist, do I have to go to the first one that I accepted?

Though it may perhaps depend on when you get off the waitlist, my understanding is that the answer to this question is "yes." My understanding is that at some point the law school will indicate to you that your acceptance becomes binding and that this point is generally not the first seat deposit (though for some schools it is), but is accepting off the waitlist, second seat deposit, letter of intent etc.
