Lately I've been checking my status checker 2x a day or more. Whenever I am by my computer I check it, I also check my email like every 30 minutes. I am becoming a status checker addict!!

Should I even rely on the status checker or just wait until I receive an email or letter in mail?

Does anyone else have this problem?

I'm trying not to have that problem I've managed to only check about 2 or 3 times a week.
I have no idea how reliable the status checker is. It hasn't changed for me since the end of January (on both of the schools that offer status checkers).

Im good for about once a day. It gets really exciting when the checker changes from In Review to Decision.

I really have a problem. I reward myself at work by checking my status checkers every time I check something off my to-do list. Help, lol.

NCAA March Madness on Demand lets you watch all the games online all the time, aka this will be my Status Checker anti-drug for the next 2 weeks

Having heard back from most of my schools at this point, I'll say that I couldn't help doing it all the time BUT I think there was only one school that I found out from the status checker as opposed to snail mail or email (and I applied to a lot of schools too!). So you probably don't need to bother... but I'm still checking UPenn's at least once a day hoping for a decision

+1, at least six times a day. To make matters worse, I only went under review on Monday so chances of anything actually having changed are slim to none, but still, I gotta check...

Okay so I already gave in and checked again... then about 10 mins after my status check got an email from Emory...(waitlist). ehhh

If you don't get a decision until late June you should write thank you letters to schools
