anyone feeling university of maine just doesn't care?

So, I keep searching for a thriving thread on the U of Maine and can't find one. Those posted from this year seem to die off rather quickly. Has anyone heard about scholarships from the school? Finally they have released a date for accepted students visiting but it seems like a rather low key event compared to the schedules posted by other schools. What does anyone else think?

I'm frankly surprised that Maine is still connected to North America.
I haven't heard anything from that state in awhile.

Only thing that seems to come out of that state are Stephen King novels.

I've heard that they lost a lot of $ in the downturn so their scholarship offers have been way down.

I got a big ass packet in the mail today. Very odd considering I got in back in Jan. I will be withdrawing from that school, maybe that will help someone. Maine ain't a bad state, just cold and a little boring.
