TX resident.
Emory-$72 for three years (sister went there as undergrad and enjoyed it)
Texas-In-state tuey ($27/yr)
Both have a bevy of beauties so let me know what you think. Give it to me straight.

I'm just hoping to clarify what appears to be a misunderstanding - you are saying you are paying full-sticker at Texas, but have a 24k per year scholarship to Emory. Correct?
If so, you'd spend around $27k less going to Emory over the course of three years.
If this is an incorrect analysis, please correct it.

Emory girls are ugly. Do not let the fact that it is in the "South" fool you.

How I'm reading it is: Emory with 72K vs Texas In-State
Assuming 3 years w/ constant COA
Emory: $65,712 less $24k/yr scholly = $41,712
Texas: $42,916
So the Emory scholly evens the cost out

I didn't factor in COA, since schools seem to estimate them almost randomly. Some allocate way more than necessary, and you can find cheap, decent housing in Atlanta. 22-23k COL there is nuts unless you want to rent in the immediate area of Emory (which is definitely more swanky). So, based on tuition alone, I was saying 9k less per year at Emory. However, your analysis still stands using school-estimated COA.
