I am in at Michigan State with a 50% tuition scholarship (out of state), plus an $8500 one-time "signing bonus". I want to practice law in Chicago and already got into Loyola ($10k/yr) and DePaul ($15k/yr). What do you think is the best offer?

If you want to practice law in Chicago, then you should go to one of the Chicago schools. Of the two, Loyola has the best reputation. I'm obviously biased though. It also depends on what type of law you plan to practice.

Thanks for the response. This is exactly what I was thinking. I want to study IP (I THINK!). Still waiting on Kent. I know DePaul has a very strong IP program but Loyola is better regarded overall (although opinions on this are highly variable among experts).

What are the GPA requirements for the schollies? I'm assuming DePaul = 3.2 and Loyola = 3.0?

If thats the case, I would suggest Loyola
