Should I forsake hope?

So I've heard from most of the less competitive schools I applied to and have gotten in to 4 of 5, but I'm still waiting on some of my reach schools including chicago, upenn, berkley, nyu(applied ED and was held). I have a feeling that the reason its taking so long at these school is because they haven't sent out rejections yet, and that is why it is taking so long for me to hear. I applied in mid November, so it seems to be getting late. Should I give up hope and come to terms with the fact that I'm probably attending Michigan(the best school I got in to thus far)?

I hope that you've checked lawschoolnumbers.com before you posted. If not, go see if anyone has gotten rejections before you give up hope.

I'm not at all dissatisfied with Michigan, but I'm just wondering if the amount of time its taking for me to hear back from the other schools is an indication that I'm not going to get in...from looking at LSN, etc, it seems to me that those who get accepted hear faster, but I'm just curious if this is the consensus...although in all honesty it doesn't make a difference I'm just posting because I'm anxious and eager to hear from some of these reach schools. Waiting, as many of you know, is no fun.

If they're reach schools then the fact that you haven't heard back is a good thing because it means you probably aren't an auto-reject. The people who hear back quickly are generally auto admits and auto rejects

This is good to hear. I heard from 7 schools within a month of submitting my applications (6 admits, 1 rejection) and now I haven't heard anything from my remaining 6 schools.

It's probably because they like you, but your LSAT hurts their numbers. Next time be born slightly more intelligent. 96% isn't T6.

This could very well be the most positive thing I've ever heard on TLS
