I am going to be graduating with only a 3.3 gpa from a small school that isn't considered prestigeous at all. If I score around 160 on my LSAT are there any schools that might be decent that I could get into? I have alot of background info, I work as a part time police officer, RA of my school, captain of the basketball team etc. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

top law schools dont recruit for their athletic teams. involvement is good though. with a 160 youd have a shot at some decent schools. not t20 but good schools. if you want to pursue law the institution can only matter so much right? with a 170+ youd be looking at some decent schools. as i just found out undergrad doesnt matter all that much.

Should be in the "What are my chances?" thread. But I know that cops don't really like to follow the rules...
With a 3.3 and a 160, you'd be into a lower T1 or perhaps T2 school. Try to get your score up a little. Even a 163 would open some doors in the T1 that are not available with a 160.

You might be able to pull an Iowa waitlist or even acceptance. Maybe.

I think you would have a shot at a majority of the schools ranked 55-100 (plus most Tier 3,4). Getting 160+ will be important. If you can get several points higher, many more options open up for you.
