Life after biglaw
Assuming one does not want to work in biglaw forever, what are "normal" career paths after say 7-10 years in biglaw? I really have no idea, so any information will be appreciated. Do most stick with law but at smaller firms, go into a new field, or what?

Re: Life after biglaw
well, i think people who are "partner material" become partner(SH) after 8 years or so in a firm. And if you become a partner at Biglaw I think you pull about 1 mill a year. I don't know why anyone would want to leave that job at that point.

Lots of people leave to go into government work (go on the bench or DOJ), go in house for corporations, or try to teach.
